QR Codes go to School

Industries with fewer resources often depend on the passion, dedication and imagination of their professionals. The case of education is unfortunately a perfect example.

The versatility of QR Codes and the low / null cost of implementation make it possible to create simple projects that are very powerful both for teachers and educators.

We share today our pinterest board in which we have compiled some of the best ideas and applications of QR codes in the world of education.

Out of the different cases collected on the board, we would especially like to highlight the experience of Angie Olson, responsible for luckylittlelearners.com. She is a teacher from Detroit Lakes (Minnesota) who creates different educational resources combining pedagogy and technology in a very creative and original way.

Below we show a project in which students record an audio presentation and publish it on the internet through a free App (Audioboom). Each presentation has its own URL, from which the application directly generates a QR Code.

Once it is ready, the students hang in their locker a photo along with the QR that links to his/her presentation so that colleagues and other parents can hear the it. Brilliant!

It is a simple and feasible project, in which students acquire new concepts and skills.
